today was the first time in forever i have seen gasoline for less than $3.00/gal. now i wish i hadn't needed to fill up on san diego to return north. i paid $3.09 in carlsbad. ;P
Happily enough i'm at the end of a tank of gas, so it'll be nice to refill. It's been about 10 days probably since the last. With my little trip, it might be more like 3 weeks or 4 before the next.
before i started working at the new company i walked to work. only had to partial fill twice per month due to driving to san diego for comic-con meetings.
now i have to partial fill three times per month. getting 30 mpg isn't great, but it isn't bad either.
when i drove across the country in 2004 i was taking pics of gas prices being $1.45 in other states when it was $1.80 or higher in california. most frustrating.
Yeah. Ours were $2.65 on Saturday. I haven't seen that [low] price here in quite some time, although it's been a LONG time since we went as high as $3.
