reaffirming my eccentricity

went for a walk. was approached by a gutter punk looking for change. i was hankering for a pizza from the place up the road so i asked him if he was hungry and would like to join me. nice kid. there was an opening at the pizza joint and a friend of his was behind the counter. looks like he might have found work. plus i know he has food in his stomach and leftovers for another meal.

yeah. i had scrounged in the wallet and gave him two bucks when it occurred to me that perhaps he could use a little something more. i am not keen on the thought of enabling panhandlers by forking over $10 or $20 when they ask for it. figured if he would like to have a meal on me it couldn't hurt. besides i get tired of eating alone all the time. it was nice to have someone to talk to! lol!
