The Vintage Fashion Expo (www.vintageexpo.com) is happening this Saturday, February 2nd at the Santa Monica Civic...no worries if you can't make it this time, it happens 3x a year every year...check out the website for all info.

Motion Picture Costumers Local 705 is having a giant yard sale. The members will be selling costume pieces, clothing, crafts, fabric, supplies & books. This will take place on Saturday, February 9th, between the hours of 9am - 2pm, the location is at the "History For Hire" parking lot 7149 Fair Ave, North Hollywood (off Sherman Way). They are raising monies for the Local 705 Welfare Fund and costumers affected by the current strike.

yes, they have some really neat clothing. from prior shows i have attended, they have cover from early 1800-1970s. lots of stuff from 1920-1950.
