woke to the morning alarm of the old man in the building next door standing on his patio, as he does every morning at 6:30 a.m. horking up loogies. this man must be seriously ill. he sounds horrendous as he coughs out his lungs. he does this multiple times a day, however he has to start at 6:30 a.m.

i was stopped at a light. something bright caught my attention in my rearview mirror. as i watched the car behind me pull up to a stop, i saw the driver lean over to the passenger who had a lighter on full flame. he lit his bowl of morning weed, sat up and managed to stop before hitting me. light changed, he drove one handed as he savored his toke.

another interesting sight was of the guy in the hoodie taking a whizz alongside the train platform. i guess when you gotta go, you gotta go.

i also learned i can buy love in a can according to the billboard for juanita's canned pozole. where can i buy me some!
