Date: 2008-09-25 11:43 pm (UTC)One day I was sitting on the porch of our cottage down on Basil Road, when three boys (strangers to me) peddled by on their bicycles. They screeched to a halt in the dirt as our neighbour's chickens and a rooster walked into the road in front of them. For a while they just stood there, totally bewildered, then one of the boys exclaimed, "Wow! It's a chicken! Just like on TV."
