i know this is late notice, however, no matter where you are in the US there are rallies planned for tomorrow, saturday, november 15 in support of overturning Prop H8 in california, amendment 2 in florida, arkansas and arizona's fettering of human rights.

join the impact has every state with cities organizing the protests. find the one nearest you.

stand up to promote love and equality for all.

i am currently planning to attend the gathering in my city tomorrow morning.

it doesn't matter where you live. there should be a rally somewhere near you. time to take a stand.

the proposition passed in california is based on a religious tenet, not on civil rights. separate the church from the state.

you can park on the street by the college (McLoughlin and FT. Vancouver way) or in the Marshall Community Center parking lot, or... the Ft. Vancouver Library is right there on that corner of Ft. Vanc. Way and Mill Plain, but I don't know if they want a ton of people not going into the library to be parking in their lot...

ME? I will be parking at the community center or on the street by the college, if I park at all. I might just walk from my house. (It is about 1.5 miles one way... but it is COLD out this morning!)

if i lived that close i would walk too! but, yeah, definitely on the chilly side this morning.

looking at the map i was thinking the marshall community center might be the best option. the notice asks that people be considerate and not park at the library. not knowing how many people may show up i will probably come from 4th plain down ft. vancouver. could be heavy traffic on mill plain. personally, i hope that is the case, but i realise this town may not give a rat's ass on this issue.

i plan to leave here around 10:00a which in theory will put me at the parking lot no later then 10:15a. maybe sooner.
